About
BASC, established in 1907, is based on the River Waveney just north of Beccles town. We are a small but successful club with a rich history. We offer a year-long programme, including a free ten week sailing school, racing from April to December and a variety of social events.
We are a kind and welcoming club, with a unique family-feel - whether you are a keen racer, enjoy a cruise or simply appreciate the social side to our sport, we cater for everyone.
​ We offer memberships for individuals or families, and provide for the old, the young and everyone in between. No matter your experience, there'll be something for you at BASC.
