The cost of the coaching is £25 per
day which does not include any food or accommodation but includes
all launch fees, coaching fees, rib hire etc.
For
all the dates above (apart from NBYC) the Eastern Area Development
Squad Coaching will also be coaching at the same venue as a separate
squad.
The 2 days at NBYC will
concentrate on team racing which
will improve
boat handing, racing rules & keeping eyes outside the boat.
Please note that like all ITCA
training, a parent will either need to be present at the sailing
club at all times or else another parent will have to be acting in
loco parentis on your behalf. It is also important that sailors wear
the correct sailing gear (ideally a dry suit) because some of the
training will take place during very cold winter months. If you have
any questions relating to suitable gear, please ask.
You will need to be a member of
ITCA to join the squad.
Here is a link to the form - which needs to be sent to the
secretary Susan Wellerd.
Please complete this form
and send it to
Sally Dugdale (07786085518)
a.s.a.p.
The programme will start at 9.30 with boats fully
rigged & sailors in their keep fit gear. The finishing time will be
dependant on the amount of daylight.
Please remember note pads & pens are essential
coaching equipment as top sailors keep their notes to refer back to
throughout their sailing career. You will also need to ensure you
have clothing suitable for the weather conditions.
